New approach to the accommodation report

New approach to the accommodation report

The new year has seen a fresh approach to providing the accommodation evidence on the cases I have been instructed on. It is becoming increasingly the case that more and more information is being requested on matters. Information on rental properties is becoming the norm, and then providing evidence on gross and net yields is becoming increasingly popular. Then there is the likely cost of obtaining an interest only mortgage, which I have also given thought towards on some cases. Regarding adaptations, I am increasingly having to think about adaptations to temporary properties as well as permanent ones. Are the legal profession reaching the point where they feel that they have the answer to the ongoing issue of accommodation on personal cases? It would be interesting to know.
